Skiers Melissa Gould, left, Thalia Pryor, center, and Frank Gould start a free-hill climb Wednesday morning up the River Run side of Bald Mountain. Cold temperatures Monday and Tuesday allowed Sun Valley Co. to make snow on Bald and Dollar mountains, and Mother Nature brought some additional snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Sun Valley is aiming for a Thanksgiving Day opening to the 2013-2014 ski season. Photo by Roland Lane
