At ArborFest, It’s All About Mud

Eight-year-old Hailey resident Ryan Ferguson makes his way Saturday toward the finish of the second annual Mud Run in Hailey, part of the city’s annual Arbor Day celebrations. In honor of protecting and promoting trees, the city of Hailey received a five-year award for qualifying as a designated Tree City U.S.A. The Mud Run at Hop Porter Park attracted more than 100 participants and approximately 600 spectators. Ferguson finished first among boys in the kids division. Photo by Willy Cook
