‘OC’ Finds Century Touch In Suns Sweep
The Sun Valley Suns men’s hockey team has played some tough opponents during the 2012-13 season and had stumbled to six losses in seven games entering last weekend’s two-game series against Hockey Source Hockey Club from Kennewick, Wash. But top scorer Bryan “OC” O’Connell, shown here pursuing a puck with defenseman Kris Webster in the background, found the range with the game-tying goal in Friday’s 5-2 Suns victory. Then No. 1 game star O’Connell reached the 100-point scoring mark in just three Suns seasons with another goal in Saturday’s 3-1 Sun Valley victory that finished the two-game weekend sweep.
