Cold Snow, Slow Course Cold conditions Saturday morning made for slow and grippy snow, challenging the pacesetting Elite Nordic skiers in the 37th annual Swix Boulder Mountain Ski Tour, staged on a 32-kilometer course north of Ketchum. Finishing times for the top skiers were anywhere from five to 15 minutes slower than they were in last year’s race on the same course from Galena Lodge to the SNRA headquarters north of Ketchum. Everybody, including this pack at Cathedral Pines, was chasing men’s winner Matt Liebsch of Minnesota (see story on Page B6).
