I have been reading editorials in the Idaho Mountain Express for many, many years now. Sometimes I shake my head, other times I nod. The lead editorial in the July 10 edition, however, gave me a good neck stretch, as I found myself nodding vigorously! Hooray for the printed word and editors who check that the truth be told.
A chuckle about Donald Trump being labeled a “carnival barker” and an enthusiastic “right on!” for the sentence, “Twenty-four-hour cable and Internet blogs and aggregators like Politico and the Huffington Post mean journalists can put up stories whenever and wherever they choose, but without editors there is no one checking up on them.”
