A huge thank you to those who supported and brought the vision of MASSV to Sun Valley. What an amazing, passionate and vibrant event. We made it a family adventure with three generations, the youngest being 11 and the grandparents dancing away just as well as the rest.
We need exciting events for our youth. It helps us as parents (and the community) to be involved in our kids’ lives. We can learn what they are enjoying, engage in discussions about healthy choices, and experience firsthand what gets them excited about their generation.
I loved seeing parents hanging out with their kids at MASSV. I had a blast dancing as a family and learning the music the kids love. The art walls, laser shows, art carts, music, and dancers were all incredibly inspiring. These types of events are necessary and help us all feel youthful and inspired.
MASSV also helps our youth feel supported. Youths learn to make healthy choices through open communication, adults being involved in their lives, a supportive community, and through opportunities to express what is important in their lives. Events such as MASSV help us understand our kids better, give them opportunity for creative expression, and encourage parent involvement and meaningful conversations about healthy decisions.
Our youth is the future—if we don’t support what is important to them, this valley cannot thrive nor stay current. These young MASSV-goers will be the future inventors, physicians, educators, artists and leaders. Keep the vibrancy of our community alive by drawing more youth to our valley and keeping them excited about living here through events such as MASSV.
