Sagebrush swimmers float to top


    The Sagebrush Swim League saw three teams compete at the Sailfish swim meet which took place at the BCRD pool in Hailey on Saturday, July 20 where personal bests were recorded along with first place finishes.
    First place finishers in individual races were Laura Daves and Liesel Gerlach in the 8 and under girls race.
    Zoe Bacca took first in the 9-10 girls race.    
    Lilly Brunelle, Maddie Ferris, Denali Stevens and Lara Gillingham in the 11-12 girls.
    Alex Daves took first in the 11-12 boys race; Kristina Poydenis took first in the 13-14 girls; and Ethan Daves took first in the 13-14 boys.
    First place relays were: Hannah Ferris, Liesel Gerlach, Laura Daves and Hazel Ludwig in the 100-meter medley relay for the 8 and under girls.
    In the 200-meter Free relay, Lara Gillingham, Mckinlay Daggatt, Payton Bacca and Zoe Bacca took place.
     In the 13-14 girls 200-meter medley relay and 200-meter Free relay race, Kristina Poydenis, Maddie Ferris, Denali Stevens and Lilly Brunelle took first place.
    Personal best times were: Hazel Ludwig, Laura Daves, Liesel Gerlach, Hannah Ferris, Lara Gillingham, Alex Daves, Kristina Poydenis and Ethan Daves.
