Fans of Micky and the Motorcars can take comfort in finding some familiar turf when the band from Texas via Idaho “rolls into Whiskey’s in our normal fashion. A little beat up from the night before, but still very excited to be home in Idaho and ready to play some new music and party with all our friends.”
The band will play Whiskey Jacques’ in Ketchum on Sunday, Sept. 1, with doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
Another Braun family extension, Reckless Kelly, with Cody and Willy Braun, will play Friday, Sept. 6, at the Sun Valley Pavilion. The show will feature music from the band’s newly released album, the 10th studio recording, released days earlier.
Joining them will be The Trishas, a folksy, “Dixie-Chicky” band.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available from $35 to $55 at
