Victor Aldinger

Victor Aldinger, 82, of Meridian, Idaho, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence.
Victor was born Sept. 24, 1930, in Bowdle, S.D. He was the youngest in a family of six boys and one sister. He moved from Gettysburg, S.D., in 1962 to the Wood River Valley and later in life moved to Meridian. His hobbies were watching all his grandkids participate in sports as well as driving the tractor on his daughter’s farm. Victor enjoyed talking and reminiscing with all the friends he made throughout his life. He especially enjoyed the times when he would get together with his one surviving brother, Hubert Aldinger. He enjoyed visiting, laughing, joking and being with family.
Victor is survived by his sons, Rick (Marla) Aldinger, Bill (Kathy) Aldinger, Kelly (Nichole) Aldinger, Rob (Christine) Aldinger; one daughter, Dana (Troy) Manning; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Victor’s honor at Boise First Community Center in Boise, Idaho, on May 25, 2013, from noon to 4 p.m. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to St. Luke’s Hospice or the hospice of your choice.
