GAIL SEVERN GALLERY
400 First Ave.—Morgan Brig will feature her mixed-media work in her latest solo exhibition, “Dream Lessons.” Brig’s photo-collaged and encaustic imagery is inspired by the nocturnal thoughts of the artist. Christopher Reilly will exhibit his latest encaustic paintings in “Sublime Metaphors.” Reilly’s lush, contemporary botanical paintings “grow” through the addition and removal of layers of paint-filled wax and resin. “State of Nature II” presents a portrait of nature’s influence on artists Allison Stewart, Brade Rude, Jane Rosen, Carolyn Olbum, Kenna Moser, Robert McCauley, Lynda Lowe, Hung Liu, Lisa Kokin, Margaret Keelan, Michelle Haglund, Michael Gregory, David deVillier and Jenny Honnert Abell.
271 First Ave. N.—Presenting “Local Favorites”, a group exhibition featuring new work from several popular Idaho artists. Featured in the exhibition will be John Horejs, Debbie Edgers Sturges, James Palmersheim, Carl Rowe, Robert Moore, Lori McNee and Ovanes Berberian.
