Offering beautiful scenery and fine facilities, Zenergy Health Club at Thunder Spring north of Ketchum is a busy place during summer.
Kids at Zenergy’s summer camp will have a ball splashing in the pool, playing tennis and doing a myriad of activities.
Under the auspices of Heather Miller, a certified elementary and special education teacher, as well as an avid triathlete, children ages 4-8 are active from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children may attend on individual days or full weeks starting June 10 through Aug. 16.
New this year, kids will be dropped off at the Community School in Sun Valley. The day will start there with arts and crafts and access to the school’s playground. Then, counselors will take kids on Mountain Rides buses to Zenergy for pool time, snacks and the primary activity of the day.
Primary activities include tennis, kids yoga, Zumbatonic, squash or kayaking in the indoor pool. Pre-registration is required. Early bird rates expire May 15.
More advanced youth tennis players ages 8-17 will want to investigate the Zenergy option of Peak Performance Tennis Camp with instructors George Maurtua and Rob Kolb. Weekly sessions are June 3-7, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 22-26.
