Bigwood Golf Course opens for the season

Golfing season has started at Bigwood Golf Course at Thunder Spring north of Ketchum.

Bigwood Golf Course’s nine holes opened for the 2013 season Tuesday, April 2 at 1 p.m. and is currently accepting tee times starting at 9 a.m. The driving range is also open at Bigwood.

Greens fees are $30 for nine holes and $50 for 18 holes. Electric carts are $10 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes. Call 726-4024 to make tee times.

On Wednesday, April 3, Sun Valley Resort announced that the driving range and practice greens by the Sun Valley Clubhouse/Trail Creek Golf Course will open for the season on Friday, April 5. The golf pro shop and practice facilities will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The 18-hole Sawtooth Putting Course will open soon, according to the Sun Valley press release. Call 622-2251 for details.
