Author and Ketchum resident Diana Anderson will host “Love, Intimacy and Deep Connection,” a two-day couples workshop on the weekend before Valentine’s Day geared toward cultivating sexual energy.
The workshop will take place Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Things Sacred Gallery, upstairs in the Galleria Building at 351 Leadville Ave. N. in Ketchum.
“The workshop will naturally make relationships stronger,” said Anderson, a mother of three who has coached women on intimacy and sexuality for 18 years.
She said workshops on sexuality are rare, despite a strong interest in books about manifesting desires.
“I think it should not be such a taboo subject,” she said. “People will have a better life if they become educated about intimacy.”
On Feb. 9, Anderson will teach women only from her book “Your Secret Chamber,” providing instruction in sexual techniques geared toward maximizing pleasure for women.
“You need to be a sexual being first, in order to redirect your sexual energy,” Anderson said. “If women will open up to their sexual energy, they will also open up their creativity.”

The Sunday portion of the workshop will include male partners and focus on using sexual energy to manifest worldly desires.
Anderson presented her ideas at a 2012 Sun Valley Wellness Festival workshop. She teaches what she describes as the principles of “Kundalini orgasm,” which she said can be used to harness some of the strongest emotions for creative pursuits.
“Love, lust and desire—if you can connect these emotions to your goals, you will have the passion to manifest them in the world, whether you’re learning an instrument or building a house,” she said.
