Hailey police are investigating break-ins early Saturday morning at the Community Campus on Fox Acres Road in east Hailey and at the nearby Blaine County Recreation District Aquatic Center.
Police Chief Jeff Gunter said someone broke glass doors to make entry to both buildings at about 3 a.m. He estimated total damage at $2,100. Also, at least $300 in cash was stolen from a business located at the Community Campus.
Gunter said police were notified of the break-ins later Saturday morning.
The police chief declined to comment on whether the culprit was recorded on a video surveillance system at the Community Campus, which is owned by the Blaine County School District.
“We’re working on it,” Gunter said. “We’re following up on numerous leads. We know there was only one person involved.”
