New classes for 2012-13—Your “U” class is the age group you compete in. Each “U” class covers two years (except for U-21s). Your class is determined by the year you were born. Alpine classes are: U-21 (ages 18-19-20, born in 1992-93-94); U-18 (ages 16-17, born in 1995-96); U-16 (ages 14-15, born in 1997-98); U-14 (ages 12-13, born in 1999-2000); U-12 (ages 10-11 (born in 2001-02); and U-10 (ages 7-8-9, born in 2003-04-05).
