Backyard dairies make sense

As noted in the article "Raw deal good for backyard dairies," I am cited as someone from an underground market. To further explain why this is so, I make these further points: I really don't intend to be a business, I only intend to try to get the idea of food security out there.

I only got to be this way because I can't stand to waste food. I find that with sharing the cheese, etc., I can get people to think of goat-keeping for themselves. I want every neighborhood to have their own backyard dairy. As folk who garden can tell you, it is very hard for us to get a lot of food security from a short growing season, and dairy culture with goats is very appropriate for our area.

Also, as goats are engaging to people, they help me get even small children interested in doing chores. Yours for the future.
