oky so if there was ever a situation were people had to live off the land there were no stores no electricity no technology that kids would know how to servive? becuse they teach that in school... sorry but half the population would starve, freeze and generally die off becuse they couldnt take care of themselves.. 12/19/09 - 08:00
Is it not ironic that most likely the students cannot tell one the origins of our country and its democracy or name the Founding Fathers, but they can tell you about chickens and "the origins of their food"? The real problem here is not the killing of a few chickens, but the killing of education! The people who are suffering "cruelty" are the students and the parents who pay money for this "education". 12/18/09 - 15:00
Next semester lets crate a calf and have the kids put a bullet in it and carve it up. Veal dinner for the community school kids, yummy! Then we can track the kids in 20 year study and see how they all turn out. Now that would be educational. 12/18/09 - 15:03

Every restaurant I go in I order chicken- What ever happened to the 4-H projects in school. If you don't want to eat meat you don't have to. But to threaten with a law suit for a 4-H project, get real- 12/20/09 - 00:51
