We have witnessed the limits of your knowledge, this may well have been the case at one time in Yellowstone National Park, which quite probably did over extend on ungulate carrying capacity, which would justify the findings of those studies concerning Yellowstone. I understand the problem has been corrected, possibly over corrected, time will tell. The State of Idaho has never been over populated with ungulates nor domestic livestock, and the state of Idaho having never reached or over extended ungulate carrying capacity has enjoyed the massive expansion of of the weed known as the Aspens for many decades prior to wolves. I live here, I spend time in our forests, and have done so for forty five years. 10/31/09 - 09:37
Pure 100% bunkum, Aspens grow and spread like weeds.. This envirowhackoconspiracy theorism is insanity !!! 10/31/09 - 09:17
I'm so tired of hearing how cows, sheep, and elk are ruining our environment and wolves from Canada not Rocky Mountain wolves are our only salvation. Fifty years ago there was 10 times at least more grazing animals on the public land than there is now. There was plenty of quakies lots of deer and elk and not so many know it all people who know what is the best for us. 10/30/09 - 22:18
Get rid of the cows!...damn things cause more environmental damage than any animal on this planet Leave a Comment
