It’s A Poll Position

While watching election news, Scott Medley, an Elephant’s Perch employee, and Jessica Richey, who works at Iconoclast Books, made a bet about poll closing times in Idaho. Medley said the polls close at 9 p.m. and Richey said it was 8 p.m. A bet was made. “We almost needed an arbitrator, and I was going to place an ad in Miscellany II,” Richey said. “Instead, it ended up on the Iconoclast sandwich board.” After 18 hours of resistance, Medley paid Richey the $100 bet in $1 bills.
